PLEASE, TRY TO READ THIS ALL! Hey! I'm planning on making a newspaper after being inspired by today's featured project by @primrosepink1! RULES: 1.No offensive language or language that upsets people e.g. LGBTQ+, BLM 2.Do not remove or demote people if you haven't got the authority 3.Plagiarism is not allowed (taking someone else's work and saying it's your own), I want to know that people are creative enough to create their own work, not others. This does not apply for Arts and Crafts, however 4.You may not advertise any website unless you have permission from me. When asking the deputy for permission, the deputy must ask me first. If they reply with their own response, it's not allowed 5.You're not allowed to lie either. Joining on another account to get another job is not allowed and is robbing people of an opportunity, it's considered selfish and rude 6.Please, also, no guilt tripping, if you are having an issue with life on or outside of Scratch I'm okay with you resigning completely or for a while. Please do not use the opportunity for fame. PLEASE NOTE: The first and second time you do one of these things, you will be given warnings. On the third time, you will be 'fired', so to speak. However, there are exceptions: With rules 1 and 2, you will be fried immediately. With rules 3 and 6, it is up to my decision weather you stay or you get fried--sorry, fired. If you do not get an email straight away from me or the deputy(the deputy can pass messages too)after going against the rules, you cannot add to the newspaper and you have to wait till you get the email. Saying "I didn't see the email" or any other excuse is not acceptable. If someone has already taken a role but you're really desperate for that role, you can be a cover for them if they aren't available or if they leave the role you'll be next in line. Please be honest and don't be toxic or rude. If you want to join, fill out this form in the comments: [choose a job from below][why do you want this role?][how active are you on a scale of 1-10?][Do you have any clubs or occupations?][how much do you want to join on a scale of 1-10?][Will you stay long(this is so other people can have chances)?] Jobs: Weekly puzzle creator-- has to create word searches, crosswords, colouring pages, and all must be printable -- Scratch headlines writer--has to find the updates and news the ST has posted for a week. Review whole month of news at the end of as month by choice. -- Recipe collector--has to find a recipe that is reliable and practical that is related to the season e.g. bunny biscuits for Easter. Try to make these inclusive for intolerant people, or add a version that doesn't include gluten, lactose, etc. (you don't have to remove everything from a recipe, just make it inclusive) -- Weekly nominator-- Must choose a Scratcher every week to put in the newspaper (with permission) because of something good they did or their overall Scratch experience (don't choose someone really famous though). You don't have to choose yourself, you can choose Scratch friends to pick someone. If someone doesn't reply within a day or 2 at most, don't wait, look for someone else. You have to put the @ sign, by the way. -- Arts and crafts creator--Has to put up 1-4 crafts (depending on size and time) in the newspaper. Please make sure the items you need aren't very harmful for the planet or hard to get for some people. The crafts must be related to the season, of course. -- And last... -- Deputy manager--You cannot get this role straight away, however you can put in your application that you want to be a deputy manager and I will put you down on a list. When I have seen you show potential and skill, I'll ask if you want to be a deputy manager still. Even if there other people who are on the list, do not be nice just to get the job. The deputy manger will cover me when I am unavailable and instead of removing people from their people or demoting them, they just have to report to me.
