// music dump // instructions press keys 1-5 to hear different songs, notes on each are below // notes so i've been messing around with songwriting for central star, my future game, and i'd like some critiques from people on the songs i have included in this project! if you're critiquing, please tell me how the overall sound is, if the mood of the songs fits with the mood i tried to give them, and whether or not you have any specific critiques on anything! // songs 1 / "Faesil" (1:07) - this one's simple and repetitive, and it will be used in the hometown of the main characters of central star during the daytime :) target mood: happy, lighthearted, bouncy(?) 2 / "Eldreia" (1:57) - this plays on a spaceship! target mood: i really don't know how to put it into words - it's supposed to be kinda happy, inspiring(?), .. whimsical?? 3 / "Cardboard Castle" (0:35) - this is a short song that loops when the main characters are in a dark, ominous arcade run by someone who isn't quite in their right mind. it gives me the same vibes as "resurrections" from the celeste soundtrack. i may make it longer sometime. target mood: mysterious 4 / "Aluca" (1:51) - ooh, boss battle theme! the battle this song plays in is interesting because you can't win it - you're betrayed by someone and you have to lose to move the story forward. target mood: like, epic and battle-y i guess 5 / "Broken Links" (2:42) - i think this one will be in the end credits of central star, or in a cutscene! target mood: calm, kinda sad, like when a book ends on the opposite of a "and they lived happily ever after" note // credits audio - PYLIRHA (that's me - this is the name i'm going to be known as when i release the game, whenever that happens Imao) art - also me! what a surprise
