This is my first platformer! It's like any old platformer... with a twist. there are multiple exits to each stage, and only one correct one. The music gets louder the closer you are to the correct exit. (This is like Ocarina of Time for those of you who have played it.) Navigate through the woods to find the master sword! The game might get confusing at some points... don't let it trick you! Tip: when you switch levels/die, let go of your keyboard For those of you who saw this when it was first shared, the bugs are mostly fixed, so... yeah.
I kind of made this as an experiment to play around with sound.... and be fun for players at the same time! Thanks to @PullJosh for platforming physics script. (I can code all platforming script except for wall-jumping, so I didn't resort to using someone else's code for lack of trying!) Thanks to @Duck403 for lost woods music. Thanks to @greghead for hyrule field music. Thanks to google images for backgrounds and link sprite. And of course, thanks to Nintendo for making such an awesome game! The rest is by me! As you can see, I used a lot of things from other scratchers, but this project still took a lot of time and effort. I spent over eight hours on it! You wouldn't believe how hard coding a platformer is if you add in components like biased sound, multiple exits, ect. I'm still working out minor glitches and making this project as enjoyable as possible. Enjoy! And thanks for playing! Comment answers to these questions: Have you played Zelda? Did you like it? What's your favorite game? I clearly really like it, as for my favorite game, that would be hard to decide, because while the newer ones have better graphics, they can't quite replicate the nostalgia the older ones emmitt. I'm only 13, but I still get nostalgia when I play the older games because my dad played them as a kid! XD
