Click for next slide (you may have to more than once) Sandy’s story is one most forget. Her tale so fictional no one believes it. Even her ancestors found her story an exaggeration. One to be forged into children’s books. But I will tell you it’s true. Down to the last word. Her story begins in a far away place with sweet grass, soft sand and growing mountains. A place forgotten by the world. This was her home. Her prow would roam the beaches by day catching clams and crabs. By night they would rest under the stars. It was said to be one of the few lands of peace in that world. Soon though the grasps of good would loose hold. Soon they would have to fight. The elders were the first to realize this and warned the prow. Most didn’t listen and continued on there daily tasks, including Sandy. Sandy was out swimming when it came. The beasts of the deep came up. They drew near. Sandy launched herself at a fish and found herself face to face with a black squid. Freaked she swam madly to the surface and to her prow. She warned everyone of the predator but they found her antics a joke. She made a tuff decision that day. Her tribe or herself. She choose the tribe though mostly out of spite to prove herself. She worked hard in her free time from that day on preparing, her friends thought she was weird but Sandy kept it up. “Just wait till they see,” she thought smiling “that’ll show em.” It was only a month later when she spotted there shapes in the ocean
