look, i may not be as active as i used to be, or as popular.. or as funny- BUUUUUT I dO have a few thoughts about how scratch as a community is now. first of all, i'm going to be completely honest, it's pretty frickin sad now. most scratchers with large fanbases were older, so when remote learning ended, the community didn't really have anymore large scratchers to keep watching since they were inactive. now, there are serveral scratchers that are beginning to build a larger name for themselves like @-HeroAnimator- and @asavage-code, (not sure if i should use your new account?) but this probably won't be enough to keep the community thriving. and secondly, most scratchers that were still active and had a large fanbase had moved to youtube as their main platform so they could reach out to an older target demographic for their content. this really affected the community because again, this means that big names like for example, @OrangeHairStickman and @Derble moved to yt, leaving their scratch accounts idle. and for these reasons, i've decided to actually stay on scratch and keep making animations and such to do my best to help keep the community alive (even if it won't work lol) cya, crystal out. <3 (ps: i do have a yt account, but i've decided to keep that private just for the sake of the privacy of my friends, and me since i do have irl friends. ik, ik, very big surprise. i may reveal it in the future, but for now, i don't want to.)
