!! bright/neon colors warning !! Yep, another last-minute contest entry xD I’d been planning to make an entry for this one for a while, but motivation yeeted itself and I didn’t get it back until recently, when I was kind of swamped with school work. We had the day off today, though, so I had time to make this! I don’t want to mention how long it took me to do the shading on the black sock T-T And let’s not talk about that sorry excuse for a shoe, either. I was kind of stuck when it came time to do a background, so I lazied out and did /that/, haha. It kind of kicked off the idea for the whole neon vibe, though, so I guess it’s not terrible. I may have gone overboard on the filters/effects, but it makes it look better. And yet again, the bloom effect is my best friend <3 I also used a ref for the pose, which always makes my art look better. Jay was really fun to draw! Her design is very unique and detailed, and just really cool ^^ Overall I’m proud of this piece, so that’s good, I guess :) All art by me in Procreate. Awesome character design by @-FR0G- <3
