Ah, I see you've stumbled upon our Clan. Welcome to CreekClan. Bloodlines, traditions and religion are very important to us here. We live in the shadow of many trees, but our medics' connection to the stars is stronger than that of any other cat in any Clan! Here the river runs into their territory, and since it's full of cliffs, there are lots of waterfalls. To the west lies BloomClan, and the east breaks into jagged and violent cliffs riddled with waterfalls. To the south the river widens into a creek. CreekClan-specific Wildlife » CreekClan see a lot of waterfowl and frogs. They also do a bit of fishing, but there aren't many big fish in the creek. They see quite a lot of turtles, which they generally leave alone. Customs » CreekClan has its own version of the Warrior Code. They also have one day in the first new moon of leaf-fall where cats each put a leaf in the river and have a leaf race! It's a little way for the cats to relax and have fun. Camp » CreekClan lives in a cliffside. There's a large tree growing over it whose roots wind into the rocks, breaking open caves for the cats to nest in. There's also a small waterfall on the cliff face which breaks into a little rock-filled linn at the base of camp. Most of the cats nest in the root-caves, but the leader weaves a nest out of branches and leaves at the top of the cliffside, where they also give announcements. It is customary that each new leader builds their own nest. The CreekClan camp is a little hard to guard, especially because the rocks are slipper and the cliff is high, but they make it work. There's also a large cave at the base of the cliffs where many cats hang out when it's hot out. Changes to the Warrior Code » CreekClan is a very religion-based Clan who may seem strict to some, but other than these rules they're actually pretty lax. » Medics may have mates and kits as long as there is another fully trained medic. » Nobody except the medics and leader are to communicate or claim a connection with StarClan. StarClan is a sacred thing, not some common ghosts like BloomClan seem to believe they are >:0 » If a rogue or loner wants to join the Clan, they have to beat a warrior in a fight. This is a tribute to the legendary ancient leader Firestar. » Because a connection to StarClan is such a sacred thing, the kits of leaders or medics are far more likely to be selected as medic apprentice or deputy. [ This is not a concrete rule but a very common occurrence. ] » On the half moon, cats will stay in camp for the night to honor StarClan and what they've done for us. A group of flowers will be sent down the creek as an offer to the stars. » The medics eat first, followed by elders and kits. » There is no mentor system; apprentices are trained by the whole Clan to give them a diverse range of views and skills. As long as they're learning, they can basically choose their own mentors. » Any kits found outside the Clan are to be immediately taken in and raised by the Clan as a whole. Kits are a blessing, and often many of the cats help to raise them. As such, permanent queen or king is a popular rank in the Clan. » The Clan works more as a whole than in parts. Disagreements are often settled by the deputy when an argument is threatened, as CreekClan strives to be a model of peace and unity.
