(I wrote the background on my phone- don’t ask) So at recess on October 27 2021 my class was playing kick ball. Now that may sound normal but let me give you some background info; I was born with a flexibility disorder that most of my family has. This is why I am a human pretzel and can kick super high, I actually kicked myself in the ribs onetime, and onetime I stepped on my hand while doing a cartwheel bc I have flexible hips/legs. I also kick the ball super hard with a lot of force. Anyways back to the story, it was my turn to kick the ball and I stepped up the the plate, the ball came at me and I kicked it BUT I accidentally kicked in high kick form and my leg shot up, going to my face. And with all that force I use on the ball it hit me straight in the nose. Now at this point I’m supposed to be running to each base and I hear my team screaming at me (normally I start running right away and it only took a few seconds to get hit) until- yeah I hit/kicked my nose. Someone call time out to check if I was okay. And a teacher asked if I was fine. So at this point it’s lightly snowing and I’m freezing cold. Then my nose feels swollen and I can bend my nose bridge, I cant smell anything and my nose is bleeding. I go inside at to the nurse office. (Now just as a reminder I was just in the cold, freezing, light snow.) and just as I warm up the nurse has me ice my nose and do other stuff like that. And I freeze again I end up putting a bandage thing on because it’s a small break, and go back to class. (I was there for about 30 minutes) Later as I walked home I was reading through my text book at bonked my nose on the door. It was a small bleed from my nose, but I ended up icing it again. So yeah, that’s how I broke my nose. It should be better in a week or 2.
Long story short: I kicked myself in the nose and fractured/broke it.
