Echo’s dark brown fur helped him blend into the pitch black sky. “Don’t you worry sir. My daughter will not fail me. She never has.” said a female voice. “Very well. If she does fail you what so ever, you know the consequences.” responded a male voice. Echo stepped closer to see who the wolves were, making sure his every step was proceeded with caution, when he stepped on a twig. “Sir, you need to go.” The male wolf didn’t respond, indicating that he probably left. “I know your here. I can smell you. Come out and show yourself!” shouted the female wolf. “Find the intruder.” she ordered to some wolves. They started searching the area. Echo didn’t dare to move because if he did, they’d catch him in a heartbeat. He kept his body low to the ground, making sure he was downwind. He breathed quietly, looking around him every second to make sure they didn’t catch him but what he didn’t know was that a wolf was on top of him. The giant wolf leaped down, pinning him. “I got the intruder, ma’am.” The female wolf turned her head to her minion. “Bring him to me.” she growled. The giant wolf forced Echo to move into the light of the full moon. He snapped at the giant wolf as he was growling at him. “So your the intruder? Pathetic. I was expecting a wolf who knew what they were doing.” she growled. The red, white, and black wolf pinned her ears at Echo. “Who are you.” Echo asked. The she wolf laughed at him. “I’m surprised. I always tell people my name before they see The Great White Wolf.” The wolf moved towards him then jumped, pinning him. “I am Nikori. Some refer to me as the Daughter Of The Devil.” Echo’s eyes widened. This was the wolf that his mother told him about. He pushed Nikori off with his hind legs. “I’m not like other wolves.” he growled at her. Nikori laughed at him. “And why’s that?” she asked him. She flicked her tail at her minions. As soon as she did that, they all started attacking him. He tried to dodge their every move, but one of them trapped him in a corner. There was no choice but to reveal his secret identity. He stomped on the ground, lighting hitting hit to make a big enough crack so the minions couldn’t jump over it. He growled at Nikori. “So that’s who you are. Thank you for revealing your identity. Now I have much more reason to capture you.” She let out a snarl and jumped over the opening. There was a river at the bottom of the mountain but he wasn’t sure if he’d make it. “What are you doing?!” Echo smiled at her then jumped down into the river.
