[IMPORTANT: Press the Green Flag to hear my final spoken words on Scratch] I'm doing this in the description cause Scratch was being dumb and wouldn't save an audio version of this transcript so I'm typing it out instead. So, this is my final project on my Scratch, I guess you could call this my anti-climatic end, that was a Pizzaroni reference but I bet no one knew what I was alluding to there, anyway I'm leaving Scratch cause 1. I'm getting too old for it, I'm in high school now and if I said I did "Scratch" as a hobby I would get bullied (and rightly so) and also cause I'm starting to realize that Scratch is not a good platform for content creation, this isn't the place I want to make "videos" for. I don't like the rules and the moderation is trash. Plus, why would you spend time making content on a website like this (Expect Asher Head Smasher ofc)? 2. As stated previously I want a better place for content creation, I've always wanted to make videos and content but Scratch isn't the place to do it, I've been looking towards doing Youtube for a while now and I like editing videos so maybe I might do that as a hobby. 3. It's getting boring, I've been doing Scratch for 5 years now, and I've had an account for nearly 4 years (Nov 17 marks the 4 year anniversary of my Scratch account), so things are getting boring for me, you may have noticed the lack of uploads and this is the reason why along with that I just don't have any ideas, that segways in my next point, 4. I don't have ideas, I just make videos as they come to me, If I have a good idea for a video, I'll make it. Recently I just don't have any good ideas to make good videos, therefore I just don't make videos. 5. I feel my videos have to a certain level of quality to be "passable" so a lot ideas I don't make cause either they are too ambitious or they are too easy (in that case I upload them on my second channel @thisisepic ), and 6. I am starting to learn actual programming languages, I have a little bit of knowledge and I am starting to learn more about Java. It has been really fun so far so I would like to continue with that rather than Scratch, also because I believe its more fun cause its something new I haven't tried yet. Anyway with that out of the way, I won't be checking messages often so if you want to contact me still, I will try to sort that out. Also, I want to thank Scratch and my community over the years for shaping who I am, and introducing me to so many friends, as well as making a community around me too. It's heartwarming and satisfying to know that the dumb videos you make in your free time are enjoyed by other people. It really means a lot and I am so grateful, thank you. And without Scratch I would have never gotten in programming, so how's that? Even though the platform is really bad there is still so much I have to be thankful for. Anyway, thank you for reading. I hope you have a good Scratch career. It's been real with you all. Thank you so much, I love you all, and it's been crazy and real over the past 4 years, peace out, thanks, goodbye.
