Hope is starting to return. The team, once fractured, has begun to reform... But will everyone make it out alive? ___________________________________________ Well, here it is, whew! 5 days of work put into this project. My other (and vastly inferior) two parts to this collab both only took a day for me to make, and well, you can definitely see the difference in quality, haha. Honestly, I want to apologise for the first two parts I made, haha. All 4 acts of my first part were essentially just exposition dumps. Long, incredibly tedious conversations between each character. The dialog wasn't even that great either, so it wasn't even interesting to watch. Honestly, I'm surprised I didn't completely kill the entire collab just by making that part, haha. My second part wasn't that great, either. I think the first and third parts of it were alright, if a little underwhelming. I honestly like the design of the snow packed area, though. It's a nice change of scenery, and makes the cave feel even bigger and deeper. The second and last parts were pretty bad, though. Specifically the fight between Ral and Fox. (that's ???'s nickname, if you didn't watch it yet!) Seriously, the dialog is really awful, now that i'm looking back on it after a year. Can you believe I was sixteen when I made that? Although I will admit the "I think somebody just punched him" line from Sinopia still makes me chuckle a bit. So this part was essentially me trying to improve on all the aspects that I found poor about my previous remixes. I feel the dialog is considerably better, as I ended up rewriting most of it to be quicker and more informative. I focused less on exposition, and more on action. I also redesigned both Ral and Fox to look simpler, and even reworked Ral's character, to make him more likeable and even pretty funny at times. The pacing and storyline is also much clearer, with acts 1-3 essentially showing how each chunk of the group ended up finding their ways into the sewer, while also giving Ral the role of the main villain again. However, like with everything I make, I don't consider it to be perfect. The length, for example, is still too long, in my opinion. Clocking in at seven minutes, which is also around the same length as my second part. I find it a lot more bearable to watch, since like I mentioned, it's more focused on action, rather than monologue, but I still feel like I should've kept it much shorter. You might've noticed Topper is absent during the Reunion. That's because , who put Topper in the series to begin with, requested Topper be taken out of the collab. Honestly, I'm confused as to why he even made it into season two to begin with, considering as far as I remember, Octo never touched the series again after that... They might've, honestly, I don't remember. I still find it confusing though, since I thought only the more plot-important characters were introduced at the start of season two. Weird. Also, yes, I am aware of the scene implying that the baby dinosaur tore Ral's face off or something. But I actually didn't see it until I was done with Act 4, so uh.. Ral's skin heals quickly, let's just say. And it gives Ral more reason to kidnap the thing, too. While we're on the subject of Ral, I honestly wouldn't recommend you involve him in your part. Instead, focus on his mercenaries, instead. If you're going to involve him, though, then please ask me for permission, and I'll decide on whether or not i'll approve of it. And uh, ...Yeah, I possibly (and probably) screwed up with 's eyes, again.. uh, I'm sorry if I did. Honestly, I just want to get this damn thing out already, so uh... ...sorry. One last thing, If you need me to draw a new scene of the sewer area, then I'll do it. Honestly, I could've just stuffed the project with a few extra Sewer backgrounds, but.. I'm tired, alright? 5 days of work, I'm looking for any opportunity that I can use to be lazy, lmao. Anyway, that's all I have to say.
