The object of the game is to score as many points as possible in 45 seconds. To do this you must sort the food packaging trash into the correct bin. An example would be to drag the milk jug into the plastic bin. To drag a piece of trash you must click on the trash and scroll over to the correct bin. You donʻt have to click and hold, once you click the trash, the trash will automatically follow your cursor. When you are dragging the trash you must be precise because if the trash touches the wrong bin itʻs game over. Even if you accidentally nicked the wrong bin itʻs still game over so again you must be precise. Please comment your score in the comment section below.
My team and I created a game that involves showing mālama to our earth. Our objective is to bring awareness on reducing food-packaging waste. In today’s society, a lot of companies sell food items that come with food packaging that are un-recyclable. We want to inform as many people as we can about the importance on how landfills contain un-recycled food packaging that adds 3.2 metric tons of waste each year per person. Many of these packaging items may never decompose because they are not natural, but rather are chemically made so it becomes extremely difficult for it to disintegrate back into the earth like Styrofoam for example. Most of these food-packaging products contain high levels of toxins such as BPA and DEHP that can enter our bodies and make us sick. By eating mostly fresh foods and avoiding eating packaged and container foods, we not only limit land-filled waste, but we also limit chemical exposure levels in our bodies. In order to prevent these kinds of harmful activity around the world, we can purchase food products that come with minimal packaging. We hope that our group can achieve our purpose of keeping the earth safe and healthy. Hana Hou! Hiki Nō!
