Credit to bumblefly for the idea. With the earth day game. Our project is based off of the Mālama Honua footprint which for ours tells you that you should not waste food. We had made this game just like the earth day game. This is to teach people that wasting food will result in a lot of food wasted which every year there is enough food wasted to fill up the Rose Bowl in California. The food wasted per year equals to about 1.3 billion tons of food. Everyone wastes food but it shouldn’t result in enough food to fill the Rose Bowl. I wish that America would try and not to waste that much food to have an equivalent of about 1.3 billion tons. The amount of food not eaten that is wasted takes up about 1.4 billion hectares of land which is about 30% of the world. About 40% of the food in America gets wasted every year.
