Did you know that leaving your laptop plugged in daily can waste 320 kilowatts of electricity per hour per year? By doing this, it increases the emissions of CO2 by 689551 metric tons into the atmosphere. Did you also know that leaving a fully charged electronic plugged into an outlet can waste about 20 kilowatts per year? This causes pollution in the air and more CO2 in the atmosphere. Our game, Unplugged, encourages people to unplug electronics when they are not in use. By doing this, you can save about 95% of electricity that would have been wasted. If everyone would unplug and turn off all of their personal devices, then we could not only save electricity but natural resources as well. The purpose of this game is to teach people how they can do their part in taking care of the earth. Even though this is a small action, saving energy is a crucial component in making the world a better place!
