Scratch... Two years ago I joined scratch for school. It was a job. It was a chore. Something to get done with. I don't think I used scratch for the 1/2 year that I had this account, but then COVID came and everything went sideways. I realized I still had a scratch account and I started using it. More to keep in touch with people and play games than really creating anything on my own. I started coding stuff like platformers and other games I had in mind but it just wasn't my thing, then I FOUND art contests! I guess I spent more time on art than anything else in scratch, and the important part is I had fun, even though my dad might not know this...;). From that 9 1/2 year old who once thought this was homework, to the 11 1/2 year old I am now I've changed a lot, and I'm still changing now. Scratch brought light to those dark lockdown days, but now that is over it doesn't mean scratch will fall out of my life. It will always be something I will have in my heart. A couple of friends who helped me through these years: @Luu-, @Sofie_Claire, @firebendergirl, @Miss_PaddlerGames, @art_obsession! Thank you so much to every scratcher old or new.
