The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998, or COPPA, was created to make sure that online websites can't collect data from kids under the age of 13 without parental permission. Recently, the government has been thinking about extending this law up to the age of 18. Here is why we (and Frank!) agree with this idea.
