Use the arrow keys to move around. If you touch the red you start over. Collect all the garbage to earn points. The last piece of garbage is the gray paper. To get to the next level, collect the gray paper and the wall in front of the trash bin will disappear. Touch the trash bin to get to the next level. It is timed so if you don't finish a level in 15 seconds, you lose the game.
Littering is something that can be very dangerous to the earth. Regular plastic can also be very dangerous. Littering is dangerous to the environment and to marine animals. Because of all the plastic and trash in the ocean, whales, seals, turtles, and birds are dying. They eat the plastic because they think its food. But it’s not food and can’t be digested. Because it can’t be digested, it stops real food from being digested and it starves them. Plastic containers can be bad too. They may keep food fresh, but they can leave neurotoxins, such as BPA, inside your body. This is dangerous for your brain. Also, plastic can destroy our atmosphere. When plastic is incinerated, it releases gasses like carbon dioxide into the air. Then the gasses pollute the air. Also, since not all plastic can be recycled, we should reuse our plastic bags and water bottles. Even though we throw our things in the recycle bin, only 2 million tons of plastic are recycled. 29.2 million tons of plastic ends up in landfills. We need to take better care of our earth. If we reuse plastic containers, use less plastic, or recycle it, our world will get better. If there is plastic lying around, we should try to find out if it can be recycled or if it can’t. Then we can take better care of our land using that knowledge. A small action can make a big change. We can follow tips to help us. We can buy returnable containers, or we could use biodegradable packaging. If we do things that are helpful to the environment, and if everyone picked up plastic or reused and recycled it, there would be less marine animal deaths and the earth would be cleaner.
