╔══════ ∘◦ ✾ ◦∘ ═══════╗ Rain is typing... *you don't have to listen to this, it's just a rant. This is going to be mostly a rant about #appi hate, so forgive me if I insult anybody. This all started last year-two years ago when corona virus started. People blamed Asians for starting it even though that was just the country it started in, not that we specifically started it. Although it did start in Wuhan, we don't know who started it. 1. So after covid started, a lot of people said accusatory words to Asians. Some were not very nice and racist. I understand that part because for decades, Asians have been mocked for the color of our skin, etc. We immigrated to the US. On the other hand, I also think it's a little bit unfair. What if you were an Asian student and some kid pushed you into the hallway, taunting you and saying swear words? What if your parents were then forced to work overtime-not because they had to but because of the pay gap between white people and Asian people? This happens with literally every ethnic race out there. But then you would cry yourself to sleep that night, not being able to concentrate on your homework because of the mocking words that were previously said to you that day. And you can't ask your parents because they're away. 2. The lack of social status and education. In a lot of places, Asians/Pacific Islanders don't really have a lot of social status. (We did immigrate to America which is around 60% white and a capitalist country) We thought that America was the land of freedom. But even though we work, even though all the money gets cashed, we'll never be able to change the color of our skin, the one that simply just says the system's going to be the same. That racism and hate against some of us will exist forever. That's inexcusable. We can't just leave some people to suffer even though "that's the ay the system's always been"
So in conclusion, I ask you to -stop violence -stop the hate against social races -try to stop the system -stop and think
