Okay okay, so I started watching this show called X-men Evolution and it's safe to say I'm obsessed so I obviously had to make fanart of my favorite character... and it turned out SO. GOOD. I've included my Krita art process in this project as well ^^ - - - - - ☆ Click the blue arrow or the space button to proceed. ☆ Click art to zoom in. - - - - - A R T P R O C E S S S T E P S 1. Sketch (done traditionally because I find the initial process "flows" better). 2. Lineart, traced over sketch just like I do for fully traditional pieces. 3. Hide sketch. 4. Fill in base colors. 5. Color lineart (I don't always do this, it depends on how I plan to shade the piece). 6. Shading (the sun in the corner helps me visualize where the light source is). 7. Lower shading opacity. 8. Highlights. 9. Lower highlights' opacity. 10. Color background's base color. 11. Add details to background, and we're done! - - - - - C R E D I T S ☆ Art: me ☆ Z◯◯m code: @ColorSnatch ☆ Music: Hurry Up and Wait by MercyMe ☆ Character: Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler, as seen in X-men Evolution. Belongs to Marvel/Disney. - - - - - ☆ If you have happened to see this show, please don't give spoilers! I already came across enough looking up art references :'D ☆ And yes, I did make this my pfp because I really, REALLY love how it turned out. Plus, Kurt is cool. ☆ BAHAHAHA shading before I lower opacity is always so funny-looking
