: ̗̀➛✎Introduction -This is the first volume of Genshin News, written by @simplistudying (me). I hope you enjoy me spilling the tea that we think (the Genshin community) is coming, and things we know about, or what MiHoyo has confirmed. : ̗̀➛✎ Contents -Chapter 1- What we know about version 2.3 -Chapter 2- Upcoming regions -Chapter 3- How to get a bit of what you want into this magazine ( more chapters soon) : ̗̀➛✎ Chapter 1- what we know about v. 2.3 -According to pcgamesn.com and other sources, version 2.3 is going to be called: Dust and Shadowed Snow, a continuation of the Dragonspine event in 1.5 (Energy Amplifier Initiation Misty Dungeon: Realm of Light) -According to sportskeeda.com, "Genshin Impact 2.3 leaks have revealed a new event coming up for the winter season titled Shadows Amidst Snowstorms. This event will feature several main sections, similar to past Genshin Impact events. The event shop will likely have plenty of Primogems for players to collect as well." (Taken directly from the site) A vital aspect of this event is the new Snowman section. This allows players to build up their Snowman, granting him new components until he reaches Mark Four. - I don't know about you, but this is finally giving me courage to enter Dragonspine and attempt to not die... - Dust and Shadowed snow is an event you can do in Dragonspine where nobody wanna go, and Realm of light is a rerun of the 1.5 event (as previously mentioned) and we'll be able to fight in Misty Dungeon. -Apparently this is from the 2.3 beta MiHoyo is currently developing (as of 7.11.21) -You've probably heard of Arataki Itto and Gorou. If you have seen the YT channel Reimein and others. If you haven't, basically they are two new Geo characters rumoured to be released between 2.3 - 2.5. Search them up to see what they look like. I believe Itto is a claymore user and Gorou is a bow user. - GET THIS! THERE'S SWORD REFINEMENTS! There's a weapon called the Cinnabar Spindle (sword) and it will be the perfect 4 star sword for Albedo. - Speaking of Albedo, FINALLY, HE'S GETTING A RERUN I AM SO EXCITED! I'm also exited for the shop reset, with rumours that the intertwined and acquaint fates will look different. I would write more, but that would go on FOREVERRRR.... : ̗̀➛✎ Chapter 2- Upcoming regions - Inazuma launched a few months ago, but people are getting tired and want more regions. I'm going to go in the confirmed order. If you watched: Teyvat Story Preview: Travail, you will know what I am talking about. - Act 3 Sumeru, (the city of scholars). According to the mixed opinions of the Genshin community, Sumeru is based off of Ancient Egypt. We know this because Cyno, the guy who was in the trailer, has a dog hat and is based off of the Egyptian God of the Dead, Anubis. Plus, in the trailer, you can hear Egyptian music. You can also see sand behind Cyno. Cyno appears to be a polearm user. Element- Dendro. Estimated release date: early 2022 (edit- it comes in august bruh) - Act 4 Fontaine (doesn't say what, probably the city of Judgement). It is based off of France. We can see two siblings (maybe twins) called Lyney and Lynette, with circus vibes going on. Lynette has cat ears and a tail, but we can't see one on Lyney. Element- Hydro. - Act 5 Natlan (It's hard to tell). It is based off of somewhere like West Africa or pre Colombian Indigenous culture. We can see a girl called Iansan (based off of African Goddess Oya) try and force something with fire coming out of her hands, the camera focuses on a trail of fire going through rock. Some stone explodes and Iansan has a confident look on her face. Iansan has an animal skull mask on the side of her face.Element- Pyro. - Act 6 Snezhnaya (THE TSARITSA LIVES HERE). It is really cold, based off of somewhere like Siberia. We can't see the person in the throne's face but we can tell it's a bad person. It is Pucinella. Childe comes from here. Element- Cryo. -Act ??? Khaenri'ah. All we know is that Dainslief is on the clip. He also narrates the whole video.
