For less lag, play on turbowarp: https://turbowarp.org/596850034 Welcome to the Game of life. It was created in 1970 by a matematician John Horton Conway. It's originaly played on an infinite grid of cells (unfortunately this one is finite - every cell at the edge will die). Each cell is either alive or dead. There are two rules: 1. Any dead cell with exactly 3 alive neighbors comes to life 2. Any living cell with less than 2 or more than 3 alive neighbors dies Those rules are aplied to create the next generation. You can't control it, so it's called The 0 player game. At the start you can create alive cells with your mouse. Then pres R to run it. At this point you can just observe it, you cannot control it. Mess around!
Original game by John Horton Conway. I learned about this game via this video, check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeQX2HjkcNo Grid engine by Griffpatch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ZuImk8-TYk Tags: #games #all #math #simulation Yeah I know I messed up spelling "neighbors" in the project... I'm sorry.
