Use WASD to move around. Mouse to Shoot Kill enemies and Absorb their powers, Press Q to take the ability of the enemy just defeated. Press E to use your power's special attack. Press R to turn Back into your base self. Press Space to pull up a reflector to reflect projectiles. And do power specific things, like dash, enhance projectiles, reflect/kick your projectiles. And if you are talking to an NPC, press space to interact with text. Press Z on NPCs to open up menus and talk, Use 1, 2, & 3 to scroll the shop. Press X to close it. But there you can... 1. Randomize Ability 2. Regenerate 1 HP 3. Regenerate 1 Power Kill every enemy to progress, try and survive as long as possible. Use your powers to defeat everything and get money, use the shopkeeper for help. here's the lore for the game or something idk have fun: The 'Shades' are rare "Things" that can absorb characteristics and abilities of other creatures, or toasters... You are trapped in a dungeon and are trying to get out, Fight waves of enemies to make your way out of dungeons by using the money you earned from being a Shadow Dungeoneer. But be warned, creatures similar to the Shades lurk nearby, they are called Lumines, and they try and frame Shades for doing bad things to the world, so they can have an excuse to hunt them down and kill them for their own fun. And because of the history they have shown the public eye, they get applauded for it. And some truly believe the Shades are evil. When they are not. True melee enemy and ability. Its a very skill heavy ability though, at least with the main attack. But its fun! ...Oh yeah, I also updated a bunch of other stuff, did some balancing, and I also gave every single ability an idle and moving animation. Its... Pretty neat! (1.13 (COMING EVENTUALLY): Was SUPPOSED to be 1.12, but I didnt want to make it, and instead I made the katana ability, but the plan is to add the option to play as a FEMALE SHADE, where it was originally gonna be a visual swap, but uh, nah. Thats boring, so the female shade will have major differences for her abilities. Basically revamping all of them, and effectively adding like 11 new abilities. Dang. Also again, new room layouts and textures so the game doesn't look bad, and maybe jobs too! I had an idea for like, different worlds and such, but thats a heavy task. What I'll probably do is remake this game in another engine, and have female shade as an option. I think for this version, our main man is all we need!
