I made a calculator to find distance between points. (Using the distance formula AKA Pythagorean Theorem) When scratch asks you for an ordered pair, enter your X coordinate, comma, then your Y coordinate. No space. Example: 43,10 or 5,9. The coordinates must be whole numbers, no decimals. -The program can handle up to two digit numbers on both sides of the comma. It will not work if you have a three digit number on either side. -It can handle negative numbers; Indicate it with a - before the number. Ex. -30,10
Haha… I’m such a math nerd… Please tell me if you find a mistake… That would be appreciated. -Credits primarily for Pythagoras, the guy who is credited for the Pythagorean Theorem. (It was conceived in his school of mathematics.) -Scratch for existing and for the backdrop and cat sprite. -All code by me What other calculators should I make? -I guess I’ll say that I finished negative number scripts on November 19, 2021 for record. -Improved with my new discoveries in operators on April 25, 2022 Geometry geometry math Math
