Miracle has always loved life at Jade Mountain Academy. You had your own winglet. Life is great. “…but the only bad thing is I can’t see my brother that much. He’s in the Gold Winglet while I’m in the Jade. Don’t get me wrong. This place is amazing! But I wish I could be with my brother.” Miracle explained to one of the students, Aqua. The door opened, then slammed shut. It was Boa, Miracle’s big brother. “Boa!” he exclaimed. He didn’t respond. “Why’s he in the history class? He doesn’t have this class until after ours.” questioned Aqua. Miracle shrugged his shoulder indicating ‘I don’t know.’ Boa walked right up to the teacher. “One of your students almost killed him!!” he shouted as he pointed to his little brother. Aqua put her talons down. “Three moons! Have you lost your mind?! When would anyone harm Miracle? He’s one of the nicest dragon in our winglet.” Miracle had a little blush on his face. He was glad someone could stand up for him. “Have you been researching all the poisons and things that could kill a dragon during your free time? No! Because you decide to do something else but research.” Boa snapped at her. Cometwatcher flicked his tongue at Boa. “Why are you even here? It’s not like your in our history class at the same time.” Boa reached his claws out for Cometwatchers neck as if he was going to strangle him, but stopped. “Marigold! Your a Leafwing and you know plants that could kill you.” Boa reached into the box he pulled in and pushed it over to Marigold. “That’s tobacco. Or nicotiana tabacum. It’s the most harmful plant known to dragon kind. A few years ago, my parents told me that even though it was deadly, it was very rare to find. They said that they could never find it in the Poison Jungle. So, how could someone get their talons on this?” The dragons in the classroom all looked at Boa. He seemed nervous, like he was the one who tried to poison Miracle. He turned his head to everyone. “You thought I did this? I’m trying to figure this out! Why would I harm my own brother. Three moons.” Jackel, Aqua, Cardinal and the rest of Miracles winglet all looked at each other. “You should leave.” spoke Wolverine. Oakleaf nodded to his agreement. “Fine! But you’ll be sorry when Miracle is dead and you couldn’t do anything about it.” Then he stormed out the classroom. Lily Pad whispered something in Cardinals ear. She always lets Cardinal speak for her. “Sir? I think class is over.” she said, pointing to the clock. The teacher looked that way too. “I suppose it is. Boa took up most of our time. Anyway, that’s our lesson on the first ancient times. Congrats on your first time in history at Jade Mountain Academy. See you all tomorrow.” Everyone got up from their seats and headed for their dorms. Honeybee and Marigold both shared a room. Lily Pad and Cardinal shared a room. Wolverine and Cometwatcher shared a room. Oakleaf and Aqua both shared a room. And Miracle shared a room with Jackal. “Have you received any mail from Fennec?” he asked. Jackal shook his head. “No. My brother is probably busy with his new girlfriend to send me a letter.” Miracle placed his talons on Jackals wing. “That doesn’t mean that dragons bear don’t care about you. Your in our winglet. Your our friend.” Wolverine took Jackals arm and pulled him away from Miracle. “I do believe that’s there’s more IMPORTANT things to be doing. Come on, Jackal.” And after that, they were gone.
