Winter to Spring By Yours truly ( @-StoriiBiird- ) I cannot outdo thou, comrade. Thou gallivants from here to there, from there to here. And now, at eventide, my doodad, Thou is here and shall come forth from the heavens to the earth, I cheer Now not unnamed art thou. Your flakes succumbing to the sun’s rays. Water art thou now, As spring seizes your winter days. Snowflakes melting, falling, rousing Winter spirit, songs, then spring Comes and heats you, dousing Your blissful sparkles; melts thee, sing. And now I look at spring, scurrilous And I hath not understand it’s wisdom in letting winter pass, The cold frosts’ beauty, currentness Turning logic down-side-up for me at last I cannot let thee go, thou left me To succumb my turn has come To sobs of broken heart, I’ll be Too far away from thee, now glum I cannot outdo thou, comrade. Thou gallivants from here to there, from there to here. And now, at eventide, my doodad, Thee, stay here, I plead, come forth from the heavens to the earth, I cheer. Now we are namelings, thee and me, To remember you throughout this coming year without thee. Till next winter, I shout, let it be! Spring shall come, fall shall pass, and then return shall thee. Yes I know weird old-fashioned dramatic poem, this was just to test/try out using old language :P #shakespearean #poem #old-fashioned lol ok
