Okay, so I wanted to do an art dump because I wanted to showcase my improvement since I've joined Scratch. I love art, and I've gotten a lot better over just the last 2 years. I'm going to try to find my earliest drawings, and then I'll try to go in some kind of order. I will try to find dates for as many of these as I can, but that isn't possible for all of these. Section 1, older stuff, #1-11: 1. Oct 20, 2020. Very first Flamesong drawing if u don't count a few concept sketches I did before this. Comments/Opinions: Okay, for what it's worth, this isn't terrible, but I don't really like my old style. This was one of the first cat drawings I did, and... I don't hate it with a burning passion, but I don't think it's great. (A few minutes later, realizing that this actually is a redraw, and this was done on December 9, 2020) 2. Dec 17, 2020. Flamesong in her original/only ref. Comments/Opinions: Quite similar to above, because these were drawn within like a week of each other. 3. Dec 16, 2020. Everestheart drawing. Comments/Opinions: Again, I don't hate this, but I can do a whole lot better now. 4. No date. Firestorm nursery scene. Comments/Opinions: This is probably earlier than the first 3, I don't really have them in a specific order other than old stuff, middle stuff, new stuff. This isn't even actually finished! Comments/Opinions: I actually don't hate this too much, but again, I can do so, so much better now. Also, this was back before I was actually semi-good at character design, and the design was a lot like the canon one. There's nothing wrong with canon Bramblestar (the design, not his character. There's quite a bit wrong with his canon character...), but I like to have my own design. 6. 1/29/21. Girl watching fish. Comments/Opinions: *cringes* 7. 1/29/21. Uhh... random girl I guess. Comments/Opinions: *cringes again* 8. No date. Human Squirrelflight when I honestly kind of sucked at drawing people. Comments/Opinions: *cringes even harder* Why is her head so big?!??!!?!?! 9. 2/25/21. Human Squilfy when I got slightly better at drawing proportionate people. Comments/Opinions: I actually don't hate this, but it isn't super recognizable as Squirrelflight. 10. 3/9/21. (Redraw: 11/11/21.) Human Sandstorm bust sketch ft. redraw. Comments/Opinions: I liked how the hair came out on the original, and definitely on the redraw. All in all, neither of these are terrible, especially since I technically haven't designed a human Sandstorm yet. 11. No date. Leafpool. Comments/Opinions: No. Just, no. What are those feet? Are you wearing fuzzy socks?! Section 2, middle stuff, : 12. 2/22/21. Leafpool's vision, Ch 3, Sunset. Comments/Opinions: This is actually a redraw, and I want to redraw this scene a third time. This isn't terrible, but like with all of my older work, the anatomy could use some improvement. Also, I'd like to change up the composition, and maybe do a humanized version. 13. 5/14/21. Original official human Squilf ref. Comments/Opinions: I like this, and it was the basis for later Squirrelflight drawings/designs. Fun fact, I actually own the outfit that Squirrelflight is wearing in this drawing. 14. 5/14/21. Human Tawnypelt ref/drawing. Comments/Opinions: Honestly, she looks a bit lifeless here, but that is the outfit that I put Tawnypelt in the most often, even though I draw Tawnypelt in different outfits a lot too. I like the hair, but, as you'll see a little bit later, I draw Tawnypelt with split-dyed hair now. Section 3, new stuff, : 15. 12/3/21. Bianca Solace-di Angelo. (Or di Angelo-Solace, whichever you prefer.) Comments/Opinions: AHH! I love this so much. If you didn't figure it out, this is Bianca, Nico di Angelo (NICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICONICO...) and Will Solace's daughter, because she would be named Bianca and you can't tell me otherwise. She'd have the more Hades-like fashion sense but be extremely musically gifted from the Apollo side. I love her. My queen. 16. 4/8/21. Heathertail, Breezepelt, and their first litter. Comments/Opinions: Love this one! It's not perfect, but whatever. It's wholesome, and I like that. I also really like Heathertail's markings. 17. 1/15/22. If only I was Camilo's girlfriend... Comments/Opinions: Yes. Just yes. This is me in the Encanto universe as Camilo's gf. I am just slightly obsessed. 18. 1/1/22. Human Dovewing bust. Comments/Opinions: I really, really like this one! I've done sketches of Dovewing before, but I've never made an actual piece. This was done with my Ohuhu alcohol-based brush markers. 19. 6/1/21. Hazelcloud. Comments/Opinions: A little something I made for a while ago that I don't think I ever gave to her... So... if ya see this, this is your late Christmas present or something. <3
