The Way I Am by Charlie Puth "Being different isn't a reason to hate, and only you can prove it." - Raine Sterling Maack
Raine Maack doesn't really have anything special about them, but that doesn't make them different. Born on March second, their parents were worried about finance because of Raine's extra finger. They didn't want them to live in pain, but neither in a life of shame, so they did the only thing they could, they left Raine on the streets of a nice suburban area. After Bexalyn found him and legally adopted him, Raine was alone in the Maack mansion. Several months later Xavi and Olivier were born, and Raine felt ashamed of their skin color. Xavi and Olivier were the palest color you could have ever seen, while Raine was a dark misfit. Raine ran away, but two days later came back because they realized they cannot live without Bexalyn's loving care. Raine was accepted into Hogwarts, but before they could go, Arius gave him the Maack mark on his left ear. Raine really wanted to be in Hufflepuff, just so they could have an excuse to be nice, but the sorting hat sought them out to be more ambitious than kind, and they would have a better chance out in the real world if they were sorted into Slytherin, so it was done. Raine Maack didn't have any friends the first year, and the second, and the third. Their fourth year is when they made one true friend, but it didn't last long. Raine stuck around their siblings, letting Xavi lead them and Olivier trying to create an excuse to not do something stupid. When Raine became a fifth-year, they were persistent in finding their real parents, that's when Bexalyn broke the truth. Their parents don't live in the United Kingdom anymore, and Bexalyn had to sign legal documents with them to gain custody of Raine. Their parents were now living in Guyana because they didn't want to see Raine and let them know that they're adopted, even though they already know. Raine then lived a crazy year, with their siblings' wild arrogance and the raids that have been happening on the school.
