I've been playing Subnautica for a while now and it's safe to say that it's one of my top favorite games I've ever played. The story behind this particular masterpiece was that I had made my base in the grassy plateaus, with I had presumed was relatively safe, but when I had explored a little more to the edge of the plateau, I started getting warnings of leviathans, I kept on swimming despite the warnings. Eventually, I was greeted by who my sister likes to call Mr. Smilly, the reaper leviathan, who just casually glided out of the abyss.
