edit 11. 23. 21: i have a name for her (marina/mari)! i didn't use any of your suggestions specifically but i did try to find water themed names, so here we are. also, about the deal mentioned in her backstory- i still haven't fully come up with it yet but i'm thinking of making it something similar to cedric's (our antagonist) please read the entire description! i might make a comic of sorts soon, and this character is going to be the main character! but she needs a name first. (azure witch is what i'm planning to name the comic) some info, in case you can't read it: she's 15, a witch in training (her magic is like water magic and stuff), she's pretty shy and gets easily startled, and is always trying to impress others (because she views herself very negatively) her backstory goes as follows (ignore what i wrote on this paper if you can read it. i changed it a bit.) her father works for the government of the place she lives, and her mother works as a fortune-teller for the people. growing up, she had high expectations placed on her, and often failed to meet those expectations. one day, she and her friend were going out and ran into a monster, who captured her friend. so basically she makes a deal with the guy who captured her friend, and if she is able to fulfill it, her friend will be free. (don't know what the deal is yet. i'm planning to make it a curse or something). please leave feedback (constructive criticism please) on the character design and the backstory, as well as suggesting a name for her!
