If you have known about me for a while, you may have noticed that I am not sharing as many projects as I used to. This is partially because of just the way it works. Not good for somebody like me who treats it like a social media. I don't think Scratch is a great place for an art community. A lot of artists who use this site - including myself - don't understand that it's not for that purpose, it's for an educational website for kids to learn basic coding. Scratch's primary goal is to help kids learn. Scratch falls under the creative commons by sharealike license. That means everything available on Scratch is free to use WITH CREDIT, and if you make a contribution, your work must also follow the same license. Therefore, if somebody uses your art in their own project, they are complying with the guidelines unless they fail to give credit. It's one thing if they take the whole project and don't change anything, but if they recolor or make the art spin or something, and they're giving credit to you, it is completely allowed because you posted it on Scratch. I do not want this to happen to my art, so I am going to refrain from using Scratch because I am not compatible with this. Despite the description so far, I've actually had a great time on Scratch. It has aided me so much with both my artistic and personal journey, and I would not be the same person without it. It's going to be hard for me to leave, I think. But it's a benefit. I want to be able to put a restriction on my art and that cannot be done on Scratch. Not only that, but I think I am just growing out of it. Scratch was intended with younger people in mind. I'm not going to leave the internet and I'm not going to go immediately. I'll stay for a while, a couple weeks, maybe, and then move to th. That's the only place I'm going to be at the moment. Thank you so much to everybody who has supported me. It really means a lot that you guys care about me and/or my art. In turn, I will release a small game one day, my final project before I leave. Until that day comes, I will be giving gifts to people and enjoying the time here. That is all I really had to say. Have a good day.
