After nearly 3 years of on-and-off work, Flowers is here! features: - 30 different types of flowers, all with different values and looks - 5 worlds, all with different sets of flowers - at least 2 hours of gameplay to max out your farm - saving and loading progress backstory: In early 2016, when I was in second grade and had just turned 8, my dad made me a scratch account. I was hooked. Over the next year or so, I managed to get a few of my friends into it. Around May of 2017, three of my friends and I decided to collaborate on a game. A flower-based idle game. We were all 9 years old and had no clue what we were doing. Within a month, it had been scrapped, and no work had been done since. Since the project was not hosted on my account, I never had access to the original. Fast forward to November 18, 2021. I'm sitting in my math class, when I have the idea: What if I remade Flowers? Then I started remaking flowers. At this point, all three of those friends still went to school with me, but I didn't really talk to any of them. I brought the project up to them and we got a group chat together and got to work. I ended up doing most of the work, but they did provide feedback. I was eventually able to gain access to the original project via Turbowarp (before that broke), but that method doesn't work anymore. Just looking at it brought back memories I had completely forgotten about But after years of work, and years of waiting, Flowers is here. and in a MUCH more stable state.
