This is my entry for @groovy-girl's AMV contest. It is extremely short (only seven seconds). I intended to make it a lot longer but I underestimated the amount of time it would take (and I'm really slow at designing things in Scratch). I still plan to work on it until I've completed at least one verse. (I storyboarded a whole verse on paper, so sometime I'll animate it.) I give credit to @purple-sparkle for being my editor and pointing out mistakes in my art (such as characters' eyes being unfocused and their hair floating off their shoulders and their hands looking like scrambled lines) I give credit to my sisters @groovy-girl and @barbie57 for introducing me to Oliver I painted all the characters on paper before drawing them in Scratch and I found several references for 19th century London, including search results for 1800s London, photos of a city near my house, and a painting in the book Madeline in London. I tried to make the backdrops as accurate as I could while keeping them really simple. Believe it or not, this one segment took over four hours! I hope you like it :) P.S I know the hands look unnatural. lol
