Jess looked at Sage, studying his visor. “Hey, what happened to your visor?” She moved closer to him. “You never tell anyone” She shoved his arm, Sage showing obvious signs of leave-me-alone-I’m-brooding. “I’m your best friend so you can tell me.” She whispered, catching the signal. “I don’t tell anyone, even you.” Sage grunted. Jess rolled her eyes “Whatever.” Sage looked at her a second before responding. “Poison ivy.” Sage gave in. Jess looked at Sage, with a plain face. “BAHAHAHAHA!” she busted out laughing. “Thats’ it?” She said, wiping tears from her eyes. “Well actually-“ Sage was cut off by Angel, bumping into him. Angel looked up from her tablet. “Sorry Sage. Got any kills yet guys?” Angel asked. Sage just stared at her. Menacingly. “Nah.” Jess responded, breaking the awkward silence. “Sounds Like a skill issue to me.” She mused, sticking her tongue out of her maw. Sage sniffed the air,, making a hushing motion with his hand. Jess and Angel Obeyed. “Shut up you two.” Sage growl-whispered. Jess rolled her eyes. “Yeah, yeah.” Jess whispered. Levi rounded the corner, coming from the communications room. “I knew it was you three. I could tell from the moment we landed.” Levi said smirking. ——————— End of ch.1
