Then a ginger tom straightened his tail. "Much better, Fireflame. Now move your hind legs like this," "Yes, like that." Suddenly, he hissed. "Fireflame, you're waking up!" The forest suddenly faded. "Fireflame! Wake up! You're needed for Dusk patrol!'' Fireflame got up. "Yes Branchtwig." "Are you just going to stand there doing nothing?'' Growled Branchtwig. "They are waiting for you already!'' Mistletoe and Mistletoe's apprentice, Wishpaw, were waiting for him. "I don't know what took you so long!'' Mistletoe mewed. "Well...." "Where are we going to patrol?" asked Wishpaw. "Um.....'' Fireflame hesitated, trying to remember. "You forgot? We are patrolling near the Sunning rocks. RiverClan was scented there." Mistletoe meowed. When they returned, it was very dark outside. "We didn't scent or see any RiverClan cats," Mistletoe reported. "Okay, you can go to your den and sleep." Brightstar meowed. As Fireflame plopped down on his nest, and began to sleep. He expected to be in the Dark forest, training with Pinetree. But this time he was in a world of darkness, and the only thing he could see was a dark black cat. "Welcome," Said the dark cat with a sneer. "W-why w-what is t-this place?'' Fireflame shivered. Suddenly the dark cat lounged at him. The cat pinned Fireflame to the shadow ground. The dark cat prepared to sink his sharp teeth in Fireflame's neck. Fireflame gasped, wide-awake. He was in the Warrior's den, in his nest. Then he heard a voice in his ear. "You will pay for this." The voice sounded like the dark cat. Then he realised that the dark cat looked familiar.....
