Cody is a henchman for Spine in The Wild Hearts. He is able to shipshape like Acid, and usually takes the form of a canine/cat like creature. The reason why he is able to shapeshift is because he is a Smyana. A once highly populated species that is now endangered due to them being hunted a lot. Why are they hunted a lot? They are hunted for their crystals (as you can see near Cody's tail), which is where they get their abilities from. If a non Smyana obtains one of those crystals they can shapeshift too. Sadly, these crystals are where their souls a stored. It is a miracle that Cody isn't dead yet considering the fact that he wears his crystal like a badge of honor and is very reckless entity.
