~Chapter 5~ "What kind of name is Lady Anaconda?" I ask before bursting out laughing. "Cat!" Marinette scolds me. Wait a minute. She called me Cat, not Adrien. Did she forget my secret identity? Is this some kind of coping mechanism because she doesn't like that I am the one that she has been fighting alongside all of this time? Whatever the reason, it had me thrown off guard by Lady Anaconda's next statement. "Like you can talk, Mr. 'Cat Noir.' Besides it is not like you can fight me, your body still needs to heal." She replies, smirking. "Yeah, right. Even if my body is messed up a little, that doesn't mean I can't win in a fight against a 10-year-old." "13! I'm probably smarter than you, given you only have a few brain cells." She sticks her tongue out at me. Before I could roast her with a sweet comeback, Ladybug cut in, "Guys we just met and both of you are already fighting. What we should be asking, is why did Lady Anaconda bring us here in the first place? Besides, it's not like you were much older when you became Cat Noir." "Thanks." Lady Anaconda says with a sigh of relief. "Now what I was going to say before I was so rudely interrupted, was that Hawk Moth has gained some new power. We've already seen what it can do, so now we just need to find a way to counter it. I was coming to talk to you guys about our cause when you both passed out. I truly don't know how it is so hard for both of you to understand each other's secret identities. You both look so similar to your superhero selves. How has no one in Paris realized this? Is obliviousness a European thing?" I cut her off. "Before you keep insulting us, you said our cause." "Oh, right. So, I'm sure you remember that Paris isn't the only city with superheroes. Do you remember how you guys helped save the day in New York? The guardian of a miracle box is always looking for potential miraculous wielders, and I was chosen as the wielder of the Anaconda miraculous."
