The Sierpinski Triangle (Alternative spellings include Sierpinski, or Sierpiński) is a fractal that includes a triangle made of other triangles that extends infinitely inwards. It is named after the Polish mathematician Wacław Sierpiński, but appeared as a decorative pattern many centuries before the work of Sierpiński.
All the triangles in this project were hand placed by me! I am aware that this isn't an equilateral triangle as it should be, after I noticed, it was too late I'm afraid. ⬇ (Scroll Down For More Info) I'm not sure why some look thicker than others because they're all the same size. ⬇(Scroll Down For More Info) If you want to see me make Sierpinski's Carpet*, comment below! I'm willing to try other fractals as well, so give me your suggestions! ⬇ (Scroll Down For Footnote) (*A Sierpinski Carpet is essentially just this but with squares)
