Welcome to the Equivalent fractions! When the project starts, you will be asked for a numerator value, and then you will be asked for a denominator value. For both, you must enter an integer (a non-decimal number) that is 9 or less digits long. If your input contains letters, symbols, or it exceeds the 9 digit limit, you will be asked to try again. After you enter both the numerator and the denominator, your fraction will then be reduced to its simplest form right before your eyes! Pretty cool, right? The fraction on the left is the original one with the inputs you entered, and the one on the right is the reduced one. *NOTE: If you enter an improper fraction (a larger numerator than a denominator), the reduced fraction will remain as an improper fraction. This calculator does not support mixed numbers.
