Prolouge The breeze was swooshing by, the young tomcat heard some noise, he ran toward the sound, "Brownstripe! over here!" he called. Brownstripe replied "what is it Oakpaw?" Oakpaw's reply made sure to Brownstipe that he was scared "that! Th- That hill of bones!" he said scared. Brownstripe looked, he said "looks like the old cat is back. can't let him get away with this again!" The big hill looked like the highrock, but made of bones. Oakpaw thought. Could this be a new Clan moving in the forest! Chapter 1 The cats were busy with hunting the entire leaf-bare and leaf-fall. Prey was scarce since Green-leaf ended. Brightleg, Gorsefang, Shrewpaw and Spottedpaw came back from the dawn patrol. "Hello, Brightleg. May I talk with you?" Mousestar asked her deputy "yes, of course." they both walked into Mousestar's den. "yes Mousestar?" brightleg said. Mousestar let out a big sigh, and said, "Brightleg, you do know how well the apprentices have trained?" Mousestar said. "yes." The deputy replied "I know, Shrewpaw is good, but her shoulder has been scratched my a monster and can't move it. Spottedpaw is amazing at both hunting and fighting. but his leg is hurt. Redpaw and Mistpaw have the same problem as each other. They both got scratched my an enemy cat." Mousestar was thinking that the apprentices would never be warriors.
