Press SPACE, use the arrow keys, or click to switch slides! There are a couple of fun things you can do with the mousetrail, I'll let you try to find them all. Hey look, it's some art I made that I'm actually proud of! Truly, miracles are possible. Ignore that it took me like a whole month to do this. So! The DD1 Championship was (not is) a competition of who can present the most interesting character. Unfortunately, after remixing the project but before sharing it, the creator deleted the competition, and I don't think that they've reshared it. I don't actually know, because I totally forgot who the scratcher who made the project is. That's... that's my bad. I'm really sorry to whoever it is. Vala's design (physical design, not her backstory) was heavily inspired by Gothi, from the Fool's Gold campaign told by Dingo Doodles. In particular, I used this image a lot as a reference: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/86/44/86/8644861058f3904f9b249c1782fa4fb8.jpg I have no idea where I got her clothes from, though. Tank top and shorts, sure. But... is that a leg-cape? A back-skirt? I honestly have no idea. But I guess that's what High Elves wear. Finally, the songs! The first song is called Your Turn to Roll, from the Critical Role Campaign 2 intro. Love this song so much. They really rolled a nat 20 on their performance check. The second song is Melee Range - A D&D Love Song by Ginny Di. It's amazing :) "I want you close enough to stab!" Haha, relatable, right? The final song is Devil Town by Cavetown. I know, this isn't a D&D song, but I included it because I came up with almost all of Valania's backstory while listening to this song. I think it really fits the "Depressed elf goes through traumatic transformation into amnesiac scary wizard" genre, don't you? Also, sorry that the spacing of the songs is a little weird. Whenever I tried to cut silent parts of the songs, Scratch would freeze when I tried to save it, then crash. Which was not fun. Wow, you made it all the way to the end! Congratulations! Either you really liked this project, or you were super bored. If it was the former, please ask me any questions or offer suggestions that you have! I'd love to hear them. Thanks for reading all of this! Now, if you'll excuse me, it's 1:38 am and I really need some sleep.
