1/23/22 (Space/click to advance, full screen or see inside for better quality) So I had another long spurt of inactivity and I thought I'd come on here and say how things are going. I would have a huge art dump of art I've done since I was on here last but I don't have much to show because... I started a pet portrait commission business thing. Currently it's just being advertised to people my parents know or used to know, but I might expand it someday. Idk, I'm just testing the waters for now. The first three drawings in the project are drawings I did as gifts for friends and family and the two others are the commissions I've done so far. It was me doing the gifts that made me want to start doing commissions in the first place. It's my dream to be a freelance artist someday (not doing pet portraits, this is just something I wanted to try out to make some money), but after doing two commissions I'm realizing it might not be as easy or as fun as I thought it would be. It may just be because I'm doing them realistically, but doing these takes me a really long time and is really draining. But, I'm going to raise my prices a bit to hopefully make the process more worth it to me. Sorry for just kind of rambling here. I'm not sure if anyone actually looks at these updates, but if you read all this, thank you! You're the best. I also want to give a quick update about the state of the comic I said I might do. I started working on the prologue and I currently have one of three pages finished, but work on it kind of came to a halt because my life got really busy. When/if my life slows down again, I'll finish to prologue so y'all can read it, but idk if I'll continue the story past that or not.
