Welcome to American Football! -----------------------------------------------------------------Rules: American Football is a game where you have to score touchdowns, which give you 6 points, by running the ball or throwing. You get 4 tries to run or pass the ball 10 yards (30 feet). If you score a touchdown, you have the option of getting one extra point by kicking the ball into the posts or you can get 2 points by getting one try to get the ball in the endzone from 10 yards away - most football teams never go for 2 points unless they really need to, because its very risky. On the fourth try you have the option to try one more time, but if you fail the other team gets the ball, or you can punt, which is where you kick and the other team tries to return it back, but they mostly end up father down (so punting is best). The third option is to kick a field goal (if you are close enough) which gives you 3 points. If you get any points, you kick off to the other team to return the ball, and them they get the ball there and now you try to stop them for scoring any points by not letting them get first downs. If you are sacked (getting tackled behind the line of scrimmage) in the opposite endzone you are aiming for, its called a safety where the other team gets 2 points AND you kick off the them (they basically get the ball). You stop someone by tackling them. You can only pass the ball behind the line of scrimmage. To start the play you have to hike it within 40 seconds (in this game 20 seconds) and there are 4 quarters; each 15 minutes long (but in this game it's 5 minutes). -----------------------------------------------------------------
