ive been seeing my friends get harassed by people here because they draw furries or like dream. then post projects like "HAHAHAH TROLLING DREAM STANS!!!" this is against the guidelines. the guidelines state: "Treat everyone with respect. Scratchers have diverse backgrounds, [interests], identities, and experiences. Everyone on Scratch is encouraged to share things that excite them and are important to them—we hope that you find ways to celebrate your own identity on Scratch, and allow others to do the same. [[[It’s never OK to attack a person or group’s identity or to be unkind to someone about their background or interests.]]]" trolling people like this for liking dream, stan or not, is breaking this rule. its never right to be hateful to someone because of what they like. sure, you don't have to like something, but that's absolutely no right to full on harass someone for it! ive seen a troller and many others comment "cringe" on a project. and hey, this ALSO breaks a whole different guideline too! "Give [[[helpful]]] feedback. Everyone on Scratch is learning. When commenting on a project, [[[remember to say something you like about it, offer suggestions, and be kind, not critical.]]] Please keep comments respectful and avoid spamming or posting chain mail. We encourage you to try new things, experiment, and learn from others." scratch is slowly becoming more and more toxic, and many communities, like the animation meme community, need help. we need people to help report these comments and projects and even users to help improve this site. i want this to be front paged. favorite this. remix. curate it. anything. the community and outsiders need to understand that this trolling is the same as harassment which breaks these guidelines. and if you think im doing this for fame or smth, then you're probably one of these trollers or a supporter or smth. i literally have 2k now (tysm btw!!) and dont even do this for fame. ask my friends :] it's probably weird to see this coming from ME, but im just so sick of my friends crying to me about these people and how much they're sick of it.
