This is the second major project released by @MrNanners The reason why I went with Plants vs Zombies way back in mid 2017 was because this game was one of the first games that I ever played, and it felt like if I could master this genre of game, I could master coding here on Scratch. Boy was I wrong. It took me over a year to release, not until Feb. 11 2019, what I thought was quality enough for players to enjoy, and enjoy they did. At the time that I removed this from my original profile, this was my most viewed and loved game. I called this area of my coding "The Double Click Green Flag" era, because my coding was so sloppy that you had to double click the green flag or the game would not work occasionally. I learned a lot about coding but eventually got annoyed at how many sprites there are in my game and how sloppy my code is, and I would have to rummage through large sections of laggy code to do one small thing, and it became too tedious to continue. Excited to get started on my new game, I decided to make a new one, start fresh from the beginning an put more effort into making a smoother and more enjoyable game. Everything I do now in Scratch reflects the same effort I put into this game. I even added hotkeys for different slot, something the original game doesn't have. What I lack in talent I make up in effort and it is shown here, with over 15,000 blocks and over 200 carefully animated costumes to create the horror show you see here. The thumbnail is created using actual costumes from inside the game, and you can tell because that sunflower looks scary lol. @Mrnanner (he made an account named after me) became a fan of me because of this game. He said: "@25LGPerales i became a fan without an acc so i made an acc named thus" GAME DATA: date started: ~mid 2017 - during Scratch 2.0 D: date shared: 11 Feb, 2019 date ended: early June, 2019 blocks: 15,162 file size: 24.3 MB loves:30 faves:32 views:875 remixes:0 status: ARCHIVED and ABANDONED I said this was my second game because I remember an 8-bit clicker game that I made before this, but that was deleted a long time ago and has been lost forever. It was called "Dollar Tree" and you clicked the tree for money, bought fertilizer, watched "advertisements" for rewards, and eventually found easter eggs to find cutscenes and eventually "ending". The story went like this, you, a botanist and your lifelong friend, a geneticist, founded a company with the "Dollar Tree" as your greatest creation. Through jealousy and insanity (details are long forgotten), your friend killed your son. There was even a cutscene where the friend would walk into the basement where he had the child locked, then the screen would fade to black as a scream and a gunshot was heard. It got pretty dark. In your OWN insanity from losing your son you forgot your past, as your friend ran scot free, and you built a robot-son, who was the auto-clicker bot in the game. The soul of your dead son would inhabit that bot in extremely rare occasions and tell you what to do to find his body, confront the killer, then live peacefully. If you did that right your unlocked the secret ending. It was my greatest thought-out story I have ever made and I regret deleting it.
