--------------------------------------------------------------------------- [space key for next, hold click to zoom!] 1. drifting clouds 2. 3d cirro turnaround heyheyhey another dtae!! mixing it up with some 3d this time too :] gah i love this design!! and i've come across another design in another dtae to possibly link their lives together if i can grab cirro here :D due to the time limit i couldn't do art of them together, but if all goes to plan here i can link up their stories!! and if i can that also opens more gates to link them both up to be related in some ways to my own ocs (specifically some v special meraki ones!!) so that would be super awesome also i just adore the vibes around this character, lots of cool imagery with the clouds and swimming thru the sky and stuff! i woulda loved to draw some more complicated pieces crossing my fingers!! now let's get acquainted with cirro- and with some meraki mechanics we'll be covering and expanding on today! :] --------------------------------------------------------------------------- cirro [he/him] aquatic-born cat primary air element secondary water element the deep pool of shimmering water stares into the sky like the eye of the mountain. vibrant color rings the iris that encircles the pupil- the main underwater tunnel that leads to the gemstone-studded, flooded caves that snake beneath. cautiously, a small kitten swims up from the depths to poke his muzzle to air for the first time. he spawned in these underwater crystal caves and has never breathed air before. he lifts his head above the surface.. then his forelegs.. then his tail? before he knows it, he's swimming in the breeze as easily as in water. the clouds welcome him and lift them into their vast expanse. this is baby cirro, discovering his primary element! in meraki, lots of residents spawn with the power to manipulate the elements in various ways. talk to plants, grow ice crystals, et cetera et cetera. one of the most common abilities for air elementals is hovering and flight! cirro uses this primary ability to traverse the skies as if swimming rivers. he gracefully leaps and dives through cloudbanks, letting them carry him near and far. but he never lets them bring him too far away from the hustle and bustle of his parties! cirro loves to throw glamorous parties and balls for many occasions. he has an artist's eye and a fancy taste, along with a playfully sassy nature, making him a very popular host! he has a minor secondary water element, which combined with his air abilities allows him to create and control clouds. if you rsvp to a party, a cloud will likely come drifting by to pick you up :] born in a crystal cave, cirro has a love for shiny stuff and often wears a lot of jewelry, or really anything flashy; boas and sunglasses are a favorite. but he's never seen without his stardrop earring- not only sparkly, but sentimental as well. despite the sass and quick quips, when you really get to know him, he's a big softie. the stardrop earring matches with another identical piercing that is worn by an old friend, juniper! (affectionally nicknamed juno) juniper lives in a wintry part of meraki that would be remote and hard to reach- except if you have cloud-traveling powers! cirro loves to surprise her by showing up with the snow, floating down from the clouds along with the flakes. juniper grew up on the mountain near the crystal pond, so when young cirro would practice flight, juniper always cheered him on. now, with the earring, she can hover, too. the stardrop earring worn by juniper was enchanted by cirro to give the power to hover, albeit slowly and not as far as cirro can go. basically, cirro gave a tiny bit of his elemental power to juniper so that they could stroll the skies together! <3 so don't be surprised if you see an aquatic-born cat and a fluffy snow leopard taking an evening walk above the lantern-lit snowy town, surrounded by tiny clouds that flurry in their wakes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- woo we done!! i hope u enjoyed :] also juno is from another dta that i'll hopefully be entering soon! that design actually has a v similar earring and it rlly sparked this cool idea. if all goes as planned then some other merakians will also be moving into juniper's snowy village too! <3 also if anyones confused about the spawning thing basically meraki is p much a video game world so characters aren't usually born, most just spawn one day lol p.s - there are some epic entries for this design!! i really admire the competition, yall are super cool and i love the different interpretations of this design <3 --------------------------------------------------------------------------- coding by colorsnatch music is clair de lune ethereal version don't heavily reference my art or my stories, it rlly brings my motivation down ty :') especially w meraki ---------------------------------------------------------------------------
