1992, King's Cross Station, London. ~~~~~~ It was always chaotic at King's Cross, quite especially the barrier between Platform 9 and 10, and more so at Platform 9 3/4, on September 1st with wizards and witches everywhere, each bidding goodbye to their children. Which is what was sort of happening with the Renshire family- although less bidding goodbyes and more shouting. ~~ "Awww is our little Poppy-kins finally starting her first year at school!" Halcyon Renshire, the oldest and perhaps the worst behaved Hufflepuff Hogwarts had ever seen, was the chief troublemaker of this family, usually causing the problems doubled by his brother, Jax, and cousin (who was more like a sister then anything), Poppy. "Le-let go of me you i.diot!" Poppy scowled, doing her best to strangle free of her brother's hug and teasing, mostly failing and being watched by Jax, the least concerning in terms of grades and most of the time savior of Mrs. Renshire, who had already given up and was ushering her kids onto the train. "Poppy, no losing Ginger again, Jax, please keep an eye on Poppy, and Halcyon, if I catch you talking to those Weasley twins again, you might as well live with them!" She snapped, watching as the three quickly boarded the train and gave her a salute. "And Poppy! Enjoy your first year at Hogwarts darling!" She smiled, earning an eye roll from Halcyon. "MOM! She'll be fine! We have us to protect her, don't we?" "That's what I'm worried about. You'll make a monster of her yet" ~~~
