I'm Junova. I am a Eevee and I live with my family and colony. I was born into a family of 17 siblings: 9 brothers and 8 sisters. Thing is, I am different. I have different coloring than them. They all have the normal coloring like every Eevee does before thy evolve, but I have a more white fur coloring. This is my story _____________________________________________ I was the 10th one to open my eyes and start walking. I saw my mother, Nova, who was a Vaporeon, and my father, Spark, who was a Jolteon They seemed proud, but it looked like my father was proud more because mother had 18 children. "They're beautiful, Nova." father spoke, licking her. "We should get to the naming." spoke a male voice. I didn't know him at the time but it turns out that he is Darkness, the leader of our colony, and the only Umbreon. It's very rare to evolve into a Umbreon, so it rarely happens. "I shall start with the females." he said. He moved the females to one side while me and my brothers stayed on the other. He started naming my sisters. "Luna. Roxy. Moon. Hazel. Frost. Holly. Shade. and Robin." I watched him name my sisters, when he walked over to me and my brothers. "Finn. Strom. Sparrow. Oak. Sand. Fire. Fox. Hawk. And Dusk." He turned his head to my parents. "Remember that these names will not represent their evolution. Do you promise to take care of these children and raise them like everyone else?" he asked. Nova looked at Spark, who agreed to the rule. "We promise, Darkness. But what about that one?" Nova pointed her tail towards me. Darkness faced me then said, "That one? I want you to name him. I can't think of a name for him.' Then he disappeared out of our den. Spark picked me up in his jaws then dropped me next to Nova. "Don't listen to anyone. Everyone is special in their own way. I shall name you Junova, in memory of my father, Juno." I squealed at my name. Junova meant something to me. It was a name. My own name.
Welcome to Born Different! I know that everyday, people and animals all have some sort of child that's born different, so that inspired me to make this series. It's about a little Eevee named Junova and he's the only shiny in his colony. He must learn that differences don't matter. Song: Colors
