I have decided I won't be posting this on scratch any longer. I have multiple reasons for it, but it's mostly because I have changed this prologue drastically and it's still an early draft, and also because I wouldn't be able to make a career out of writing if I just let everyone read it for free. There is the possibility that I may publish it on a book website called tapas, if you do want to read it once the whole thing is finished. Keep in mind, I probably won't finish this book for years yet, and I'm already on a hiatus from writing. Thanks to all the people who commented nice things for the support and motivation. !! WARNING! This book's genre is YA fantasy (YA meaning young adult) so if you are uncomfortable with blood, weapons, demons, and at LEAST mid-level violence, please don't read it!
