But not the best compared to competitors such as the Fiesta, Punto, Polo or more outlandish choices such as the 106. They all had their own strong points but the Corsa lagged behind because it wasn't very exceptional at everything. What I'm getting at is, it was fine at everything and not good at one specific thing. So Vauxhall fixed it. In 2000, the C launched with a whole new platform. Fun to drive? Check. Newer engines were tested on later B's and brought onto the C, as well as a couple of whole new ones. Better engines? Check. Build quality was drastically improved, as well as reliability. The point is, everything was improved and the Corsa really became a good car. It was really quite well equipped, especially compared to big competitors such as the Polo or Fiesta, it was far safer than the old model, it wasn't a wonder as to why the C lasted 6 years in production and was still relatively modern. - I drew this in December 2021 and planned to update it when the eventual time came around, but I moved it right to the top of my priority list after Hugo got one for his first car. I would've then drawn the facelift model but I only have a brochure for the pre-facelift models so that's the only one in here. There's still lots of content though, all of the 2001 model year parts are featured from colours to trims. The wheels on the SXi were a bit difficult because i couldn't find any flat views of them so they are drawn from scratch and so don't look the best... But I'm pleased either way. - Updates: 08/10/2022 - Trims, colours, more wheels, backgrounds - updating to current style really. 12/12/2022 - changed year in description to 03 from 06 (car is a pre-facelift model)
