『Dark Dreams ~ Chapter 1』 Dreampaw opened her eyes. She was surrounded by a horrible darkness that made her heart sink. She'd been having terrible dreams since she was born. She stepped forward. "Hello?" she muttered. "Hello!" a cheerful voice greeted her. "Shut up," snapped another, almost grumpy, voice. "We're not here to make her happy, we're here to torture her." "Oh- yes, sorry, Nightshadeleaf," mumbled the first voice, as if just remembering something. "Dreampaw," hissed the second voice, Nightshadeleaf, "you are part of a prophecy." "Whata prophecy?" asked Dreampaw, caught offguard. Nightshadeleaf groaned. "Sunflowerpetal, this apprentice is not making things easy." "Let me help," Sunflowerpetal said reassuringly. "Dreampaw... A prophecy is a forseeing of the future." "Whata forseeing?" asked Dreampaw. Sunflowerpetal told Nightshadeleaf, "You were right... If I didn't know better I'd think this cat was a kit just born." Nightshadeleaf laughed. Dreampaw glared at him, her gray eyes sharp. He instantly went silent. "Forseeing," Sunflowerpetal explained patiently, "is seeing something..." She trailed off. "Uh." Dreampaw nodded. "So what's the pawfesy?" she asked. Sunflowerpetal's eyes went blank. She murmured: IN THE DARK OF THE NIGHT AND THE SHINE OF THE LIGHT SOMETHING WITH POWER WILL ARISE WE DO NOT KNOW IF GOOD OR BAD AND THAT ONE FACT MAKES ALL OF US MAD Her eyes went normal again. "Weird prophecy," snickered Nightshadeleaf. Sunflowerpetal kicked him. "Not as weird as the prophecy you gave that... what was her name...? Riverpaw or something like that? RiverClan medicine cat apprentice?" Nightshadeleaf muttered something and suddenly Dreampaw was seeing into his memories. Memory-Nightshadeleaf's eyes were blank, as Sunflowerpetal's had been. He was reciting something. ...COMING DARKNESS'S FALL SOMETHING WORSE OR BETTER THAN ALL FIVE CATS ONE FROM EACH CLAN WILL STOP THE REST FROM TAKING THE LAND Memory-Nightshadeleaf's eyes went back to normal. The apprentice in front of him was confused. "What the Dark Forest does that mean?" she asked. Nightshadeleaf smirked. "I dunno," he sneered. "Oh- you're waking. Bye." Dreampaw's eyes flew open. She was back with real Nightshadeleaf and Sunflowerpetal. "Was it a real prophecy?" she asked softly. But instead of getting a reply, Nightshadeleaf's eyes burned with anger. "DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN!" he snapped. "What?" said Dreampaw, confused. "READ MY MIND!" Nightshadeleaf snarled. "You have a special power, don't use it for mean things like that." "Wh-" Dreampaw began, but then she disappeared. She opened her eyes. She was awake in her camp. Next: Previous: None :> First: You're here!
